Net Magic, Inc.
So I have connected to
your service, what do I do now?
Well, that's up to you! The most frequently used services are Web
browsing and e-mail. If you got the Microsoft(TM) Internet Explorer
software from Net-Magic.net when you signed up, then you already
have a web browser and a mail client installed. Additional
programs can be downloaded from Net-Magic's FTP Server
If you do not have a browser, you can download one from either
Netscape or Microsoft
for web browsing, and FreeAgent for Usenet
newsgroups.
There are numerous other places on the internet that you can find
programs. Often you will have to download the program from the
author directly. Usually this is a very simple process, such as
clicking on the Internet Explorer icon on Net Magic's Home Page.
Another great site to find programs for Windows is Stroud's
Consummate Winsock Apps List. MacIntosh
users are encouraged to look around at MacOS. We also maintain an archive of what we
consider some of the best applications currently available. You
can reach that by connecting to our file transfer server,
ftp.net-magic.net and logging in as either anonymous or with your
user name and password. If you do log in as anonymous be sure to
give your e-mail address as your password.
