The historic Christ Church Chapel (see link for picture and church history) is post-Civil War era. Two previous buildings on the site burned - - one during the Civil War - - as did all records prior to that period. The new Christ Church worship facility was completed in time for the Good Friday service, March 25, 2005. The service was jointly celebrated by congregants from Christ Church and King of Peace, Kingsland.
