  • Green, Brown, White.....Paper Labels OK......(Separate colors and rinse)

  • Aluminum

  • Beverage cans, Tuna cans...(Rinse)

  • Magazines and Catalogs - Call Keep Nassau Beautiful at 277-2701

  • Cardboard - Bins in Fernandina or take to Amelia Buyback Center (Crush or flatten)

  • Styrofoam Packing Peanuts- Take to Mail Boxes Etc. or Amelia Island Graphics, both on Sadler Road in Fernandina

  • Used Oil - Take to West Nassau Landfill

  • Yard Waste - Take to West Nassau Landfill or call your trash hauler to have picked up

  • Plastic and Paper Bags -Bins at area grocery stores

  • Phone Books - Glue used in books does not allow phone books to be mixed with paper. Save for annual collection drive

  • Cloth or Clothing - Call ARC in Yulee at 225-9355

  • Car Batteries - Take to West Nassau Landfill

  • Tires - Take to West Nassau Landfill

  • Plastic #1 & #2

    (Clear soda bottles, milk jugs and water jugs) Carnan Recycling in Callahan located on W. Brandies Ave., past the Ace Hardware. (Check the bottom of the bottles for the number. Take the lids off and step on the bottles to flatten.)

  • White Goods (Appliances) -Take to West Nassau Landfill or call your trash hauler to have picked up.
